Come to Abudhabi, the capital and the largest city in the United Arab Emirates and the home of the only Ferreri theme park in the world, the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and you will find the one of the largest mosque, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque .

You can visit Abudhabi on a day-trip from Dubai by car for two hour drive through Sheikh Zayed Road. Public buses are also available at Shindhaga Bus Terminal, Bur Dubai. Ticket costs AED20 to Abu Dhabi and AED15 for the return journey. You can also hire taxi from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, the cost is about AED250-300.

Parking is quite challenging in Abu Dhabi especially in the business areas. Paid parkings were governed by Department of Transport's Mawaqif which allows payment both curbside meters and SMS parking request.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The sixth largest Mosque in the world. Driving is the best way to visit the mosque, plenty of car parks are available. You can also take a taxi to the mosque. It is recommended to hire the taxi for going and come back to the city proper as it is difficult to take a taxi back to the city proper.



Khalifa Park - This park area is 500,000 sq metres and building costs AED197 million has its own train, grand avenue, central plaza, museum, time tunnel, the canal, ampitheatre, party hall, gardens and theme parks.


Abu Dhabi Corniche


Corniche - Enjoy the Abu Dhabi's breathtaking skylines and the deep turquoise color of the sea. The corniche is perfect for strolling as there are ice cream shops, cafes and restaurants in the beach side. There are also bicycles available for rent. At the tip of the corniche, you will find the world's most luxurious hotel, The Emirates Palace.


Flagpole - The 123 metres world's tallest flagpoles with the massive UAE flag hanging off it located at Marina Island accross Marina Mall.


Yas Island


Yas Island - You will find Ferrari World Abu Dhabi , Marina Circuit, gold course and enormous shopping malls.


Saadiyat Island


Saadiyat Island - It can be reached by two major highway bridges and just 5-minute drive from downtown Abu Dhabi. Saadiyat Island offers a great variety of attractions, an up-scale cultural district to enrich Abu Dhabi,Guggenheim Museum, Louvre Museum, world class performing arts, waterfront homes for residents, and an 18-hole golf course.
